Introducing Filip, a Software Support Consultant at Cimlogic. Following the completion of a Computer Science degree at the University of Kragujevac, Serbia, Filip gained 4 years of experience in the industry, working for a global food packaging company. Filip joined Cimlogic in March 2022, and he tells us all about his journey at Cimlogic so far…

Tell us about your Cimlogic journey

I have been with Cimlogic for almost a year now, and my journey with the company has been positive and fulfilling. I’ve had the opportunity to work on challenging and exciting projects that have allowed me to develop new skills and grow as a professional.

What skills are fundamental to your role?

As a Software Support Consultant, I consider SQL, C#, and strong TrakSYS™ MES solution knowledge to be fundamental to my role. Combined with a client-oriented way of thinking, these skills are essential for me to perform my job role effectively and to contribute to the success of the company.

Have you worked with mentors within the company who have had a positive impact on your career? 

I have the privilege of working with mentors at Cimlogic who have had a positive impact on my career. They have provided valuable guidance, feedback, and support and have helped me develop my skills and advance my career. I appreciate the supportive and collaborative culture at Cimlogic, which has made my experience all the more enjoyable.

What are the career prospects and opportunities like at Cimlogic?

The company is committed to investing in its employees’ growth and development, and there are opportunities to advance within the company, take on new responsibilities, and work on exciting projects. Personally, I found the ITIL course that I recently participated in to be especially useful for my career development.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Cimlogic?

The highlight of my experience at Cimlogic was a visit to the UK. This was an incredible experience that allowed me to meet colleagues in person, visit the headquarters of the company, and see the beautiful architecture of Saltaire. It was a truly unforgettable experience that I will always treasure.

What I enjoy most about my role at Cimlogic is working with a great team, having a challenging and rewarding job, and feeling that I am making a positive impact on the company.
